“Never deploy Friday” captures a valid fear: an unsupported change should not threaten people’s rest. But Tuesday can be just as dangerous without observability, ownership, or recovery. Release when the team can validate the result and respond responsibly, whatever the day displayed.

- Confirm support coverage for the validation window.
- Prefer reversible changes near low-staff periods.
- Record the recovery decision before release.
